DATE NIGHT PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: January 1st, 2025
Hello and welcome! At Date Night, we’re committed to being open and transparent about how we collect, use, and share your personal data. We know privacy policies aren’t everyone’s idea of fun, but we’ve done our best to keep this document clear, detailed, and maybe even a bit engaging—because it’s really important you read it! Think of this as your digital wingmate, guiding you through what data we gather, why we do it, and the controls you have. Grab your favourite beverage, get cosy, and let’s dive into how we handle your personal information.
1. WHO WE ARE
Depending on where you live, different entities within our organization are responsible for your data (the “data controller”). Our principle company Date Night Corp Ltd will act as the primary Data controller. Our details:
Date Night Corp Ltd
Henleaze House Business Centre
13 Harbury Road, Henleaze
Bristol
BS9 4PN
Aethium Dynamics Ltd
2. WHERE THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLIES
This policy covers the websites, apps, events, and other services we operate under the Date Night brand (collectively called our “service”). That includes scenarios where you join us in person for events, use the Date Night app to find matches, or visit our website for community features.
- If a particular service of Date Night has its own separate privacy policy, that document will govern instead of this one.
3. DATA WE COLLECT
To help you build meaningful connections, we need certain information from you. Your usage of Date Night also generates data. Sometimes we get data from third parties too.
3.1 Information You Provide to Us
3.1.1 Personal Accounts
- Required Basic Info: Creating an account may require details like phone number, email address, and date of birth. Some of this data is mandatory for many of our features.
- Optional: You can choose to add a location to your profile or posts, upload an address book for suggestions, or set a display name or username that is either your real name or a pseudonym.
- Multiple Accounts: You can NOT have more than one Date Night account.
3.1.2 Professional Accounts
- Additional Details: If you create a professional or premium/business account, we might ask for a professional category (e.g., venue or brand). You may also provide optional fields (like a street address, phone, or email) that may remain public.
3.1.3 Payment Information
- If you purchase ads or other paid features, we collect payment details (card number, expiration date, billing address).
- We store transaction history so we know what you purchased and when.
3.1.4 Preferences
- We save the preference settings in your account (e.g., language, privacy controls) so we can honor them each time you use Date Night.
3.1.5 Biometric Information
- With your explicit permission, we may gather certain biometric data (e.g., face geometry) for safety, security, or ID verification. For more information about how we handle this, see the Photo and ID Verification docs.
3.1.6 Job Applications / Recommendations
- If you use Date Night’s job-related features, we might gather data like your bio, work history, education, professional interests, etc., plus relevant usage info. We use it to recommend jobs, share details with potential employers, facilitate professional connections, and tailor ads.

- If you provide an email or phone number, we might use that to identify your account across devices or sessions.

- See our [Cookie Policy] for details on how cookies, SDKs, and similar tech are used.
3.3 Data We Collect with Permission/Consent
If you enable certain app permissions (e.g., device location, push notifications, camera/microphone usage, uploading contact lists), we collect corresponding data to support those features. You can usually revoke these permissions in your device or app settings, although some features might stop working if you do.
3.4 Data We Receive from Third Parties
- Advertising / Business Partners: They may share hashed identifiers, cookie IDs, device info, or demographic data to help us or them tailor ads.
- Other Integrations: For instance, if you link your social media accounts to Date Night, that platform may share your profile info, friend lists, or content with us.

As part of our paid subscription and dedication to providing a user-centric experience, we do not use algorithms, ranking systems, or any form of automated matchmaking on our platform.
- Our strict policy of open-reach communication ensures that all members have full visibility of the entire community of people available in their area. Every user can browse through profiles without any restrictions or curated suggestions, allowing them to make genuine, informed decisions based on personal preferences, interests, and shared values.
- This approach reflects our core belief that meaningful relationships are built on openness, choice, and respect rather than algorithmic recommendations or artificially imposed connections. By providing unrestricted access to the entire community, we empower our members to explore all available options and engage with individuals who align with their values and relationship goals.
- We are committed to maintaining an open, transparent environment where every member has an equal opportunity to connect.
7. CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS
